I have nothing to do with this, but I thought it was interesting.  It's a set of 3 FPL poles near an AM Directional Tower.  They have detuned the towers with a thick copper wire down the side of the tower with a tuning device at the bottom.   This is a passive device.  It helps eliminate the effect of the pole on the AM station's antenna pattern.   Click on the images to see them full size.   Then click again to see it even larger.   From a distance, the wire can be hard to see.
